Advocacy

For over thirty years, the United States African Chamber of Commerce has been the leading voice for Hispanic business owners in America. From its inception, the mission of the United States African Chamber of Commerce, has been to foster economic growth that creates and sustains prosperity for the benefit of the American people. We know that when policy makers in Washington prioritize the rise of America’s small and minority business communities, our country’s wider economic outlook improves.

Here are a few of the public policy areas we advocate for:

Access to Capital

The USACC encourages increased capital investment in small business. Budding innovative public and private partnerships are critical to the overall growth of African businesses.

International Trade and Commerce

The USAACC supports international trade that helps level the playing field by increasing competition. This enables small businesses to bring their products to market.

Education and Workforce Development

Investing in job training and work readiness programs are essential for America’s youth to be sufficiently prepared for their future entry into the workforce.

Immigration

Immigrants are twice as likely as the native born population to start a small business. The USAACC believes immigration policy must be viewed as a vehicle for economic growth.

Energy

The USACC encourages increased capital investment in small business. Budding innovative public and private partnerships are critical to the overall growth of African businesses.
